Privacy Policy — Folders & Bulk Manager for Claude

Effective date: July 8, 2026

Folders & Bulk Manager for Claude ("the extension", "we", "us") is a browser extension that helps you organize, search, and clean up your Claude chat history on claude.ai. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles, why, and who processes it. It is written to be accurate to what the extension's code actually does.

In one sentence: your chats and your organization stay on your device; the only data that reaches us is your license key when you activate Pro, your email when you buy Pro (handled by our payment processor), and anonymous error signals that help us fix the extension when Claude changes its website.

1. Data that stays on your device

The following data is stored locally by the extension using your browser's extension storage and is never transmitted to us or to any third party:

About cross-device sync. Your folder and pin layout is stored using Chrome's extension storage, including storage.sync. If you are signed in to Chrome with sync enabled, your browser may copy this layout between your own devices under your own Google Account. This synchronization is performed by your browser, not by us — we never receive or have access to it. Your local chat index (titles) is stored only on the current device and is not synced.

You can remove all of this data at any time by deleting folders in the panel, clearing the extension's storage, or uninstalling the extension.

2. Data that reaches us or our processors

2.1. License key (only if you activate Pro)

When you enter a Pro license key in the extension, the key is:

The license key is authentication information. We use it only to verify your Pro entitlement. If you never activate Pro, no license key is ever created or sent.

2.2. Purchase email (only if you buy Pro)

When you purchase Pro, checkout is handled by our payment processor, Polar.sh, which acts as the merchant of record. You provide your email address and payment details to Polar on the checkout page — not to the extension. The extension never sees, stores, or transmits your email address or payment details. As the seller, we can see your purchase record (such as your email and order details) in Polar's dashboard, and we use it to deliver your license key and to provide support and refunds.

2.3. Anonymous error signals ("beacons")

Claude is a third-party website that changes its layout over time. When the extension can no longer find an element it needs (for example, a menu button has moved), it sends a small, sanitized diagnostic signal to our server so we can ship a fix quickly. Each signal contains only:

These signals contain no page URLs, no page content, no chat data, no chat titles, no personal identifiers, and no license key. They cannot be tied to you. Until our server endpoint is live, these signals are queued locally on your device and not sent anywhere.

2.4. What we never collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or use for advertising any of the following: the contents of your conversations, the URLs or content of pages you visit, your general browsing history, your Claude account credentials, your payment card details (those go only to our processor), or any analytics, tracking, advertising, or fingerprinting data. The extension contains no analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind.

3. Why we process this data (purposes)

DataPurpose
Local chat index, folders, pins, settings Provide the extension's core features (organize, search, pin, clean up). Stays on device.
License key Verify your Pro entitlement and unlock Pro features.
Purchase email and order record (via Polar) Deliver your license key; provide support and process refunds.
Anonymous error beacons Detect and fix breakages caused by changes to Claude's website; keep the extension reliable and secure.

We process data only for these purposes and directly related operational purposes. We do not use any of it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Service providers (processors)

We share data only with the providers strictly needed to run the service:

We do not use any other third parties, and we do not share your data with anyone for their own purposes.

5. Data retention

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

All network requests made by the extension use HTTPS. The extension requests the minimum browser permissions it needs (storage, and injection on claude.ai only) and requests no broad host access. It loads and executes no remote code.

8. Children

The extension is not directed to children and is intended for users who hold a Claude account in accordance with Anthropic's terms. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Limited Use disclosure (Chrome Web Store)
